Accessibility
This site is plain HTML with no JavaScript required to use it, which covers most of the ground on its own.
What we hold ourselves to
One h1 per page, headings in order, and every link labelled by its own text
rather than by "click here". Text contrast is kept at or above the WCAG AA ratio of 4.5:1.
Every control — buttons, menu links, breadcrumbs, the service-area list — is at least 44 pixels on a touch screen. Links inside a paragraph are the height of the text around them. The whole site works with the keyboard alone, and the
skip link at the top of every page jumps past the menu.
Motion is limited to one line drawing itself as a section comes into view, and it is switched off entirely for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion.
Where it may fall short
We have not had this audited by a third party. If something here does not work with your screen reader, your magnifier or your keyboard, call the number at the top of the page and tell us — we would rather hear it than not.
